The Vision Behind the Medix Foundation

The Medix Foundation exists to solve one of the most pressing challenges in the commercial trades: the gap between talent and opportunity.

After building companies across facility management, construction, logistics, and real estate, Vince Kiel saw a pattern emerging nationwide: skilled tradespeople were aging out, fewer young people were entering the industry, and traditional education paths weren’t preparing workers for the realities of modern commercial trades.

He founded the Medix Foundation to change that.

Medix Foundation is a workforce development engine built to empower people who want a different and hands-on path into careers that create stability, pride, and generational impact. Through mentorship, skills training and career guidance, the foundation helps individuals unlock opportunities without the barriers of traditional schooling.

The trades aren’t a fallback. They’re the backbone of the economy. We’re here to elevate them.”

About Vince Kiel

Vince Kiel is a self-made entrepreneur whose journey began far from conventional classrooms. He built his empire with nothing more than initiative, grit, and a $300 budget. It was a small start that ultimately grew into a portfolio of more than 30 self-funded, debt-free companies generating nearly a billion dollars in annual revenue.

His path wasn’t paved by degrees or formal institutions. It was built through hard work, persistence, and real-world learning. Vince’s early experience pounding the pavement, building relationships face-to-face, and learning the trades from the ground up shaped his belief that success isn’t limited to traditional education.

The Medix Foundation is the embodiment of that belief.

Vince created the Medix Foundation to help others who learn the way he learned, work the way he worked, and thrive through hands-on experience.

Today, the organization draws on a network of more than 4,500 mentors across his enterprise ecosystem, giving aspiring technicians, operators, and tradespeople direct access to real industry expertise.

Impact of the Medix Foundation

Through the Medix Foundation, Vince has built one of the largest mentorship-driven workforce development networks in the industry. The foundation provides a clear path into the trades, helping individuals gain the skills, confidence, and industry connections needed to build meaningful careers. The Medix Foundation is not a charity. It’s a catalyst. It creates opportunities that lead to real financial independence and solves skilled labor shortages by elevating the next generation of trade professionals.

Leadership Philosophy

Vince’s philosophy is rooted in the idea that people don’t need permission to succeed. They need opportunity, support, and a path that fits their strengths.

Core Principles

Champion alternative paths

Not everyone thrives in a classroom and they shouldn’t have to.

Elevate through mentorship

Real skills are learned from real people doing real work.

Create economic mobility

Trades aren’t fallback careers. They’re engines of upward movement.

Invest in people, not résumés

Talent shows up in unlikely places when given a chance.

I didn’t take the traditional path and I don’t expect anyone else to. I expect them to find their own.
